Cigar Box Tradition Redux Closing Party

On Friday, September 27 from 4PM to 6PM, the David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village (CT) will have a closing party for the exhibition “Cigar Box Tradition Redux,” a group exhibition of over 25 local artists’ transformations of the titular box into works of art. Musician and artist David Reed will be featured, playing his own hand-built cigar box guitars.  In addition, six new artworks created by children in a recent workshop have been added to the show, joining the work of Marsha Altemus, Elizabeth Buttler, Robert Cronin, John Hodgson, Vincent Inconiglios, Danielle Mailer, Patty Mullins, and many more. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all ages.
