Description

In 2023 the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden began researching, with the Witness Stone Project, the history of those enslaved on the property, and that research resulted in a greater understanding of those who worked on property. Join Peg Shimer, Site Administrator of the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden to learn more about these people and what it meant to be enslaved, indentured, in service and a companion at Bellamy-Ferriday during its 250+ years. Discover who these people were and how they came to be at Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden. Perhaps most importantly, learn about their lasting impact.
