Description
Join Kat Owens as she tells the story of marine animals harmed by plastic pollution.
Following the presentation, a reception with refreshments will be held for the new installation of Dr. Owens’ four life-size, hand-sewn portraits of marine animals. These are part of a series of artworks made entirely from unrecycled plastic marine debris.
A collaborative sewing event will be led by the artist for you to co-create a life-size, 80-foot portrait of a fin whale. All materials are supplied, no experience required!
