Peter McEachern Quintet at Torrington Historical Society

TORRINGTON, CT--- The Torrington Historical Society will host the first of its summer concerts on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 6 pm with a performance by the Peter McEachern Quintet. This outdoor concert will take place in the Hotchkiss-Fyler gardens at the Torrington Historical Society, 192 Main St., Torrington CT. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and refreshments. Onsite parking is limited but street parking or nearby parking lots are available.
The Peter McEachern Quintet will feature a new line up of jazz musicians playing original music from McEachern’s soon-to-be released CD, ‘Streamin’. In addition to McEachern (trombone), the quintet will feature noted musicians Noah Preminger (saxophone), Zwelakhe-Duma Belle Le Pere (bass), Michael Sarin (percussion) and Andrew Wilcox (piano). The music draws from the jazz tradition as well as personal influences and is a starting point for these gifted improvisors to tell their stories.
