Playing with Art: Vintage 1970s Cartoon Screening

On Fri April 18 at 3PM, David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village (CT) will screen vintage 1970s film animation based on a book of Grimm’s Fairy Tales by Eric Carle. The film-to-digital transfer was made possible by a gift of the films from producer CB Wismar and through a grant from Northwest CT Community Foundation. One of the cartoon, The Fisherman and His Wife, features noted voice actors June Foray and Hans Conried and was an Academy Award finalist for best animated short in 1979. This program is part of the exhibition "Playing with Art: Art & Animation for Children of All Ages" on display from April 2 through April 25.
