Thursday, December 26th, at 6:30, 2nd Home welcomes back The Benjamin Simmons Jazz Trio. The ensemble is led by tenor saxophonist Benjamin Simmons. Drawing inspiration from jazz greats such as Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane, the Hartford based trio specializes in straight ahead jazz. The group’s repertoire consists of songbook standards, modern jazz compositions, and originals by members of the band. Great music, food, drinks, and fun. Come down and enjoy!
