Join us for the third concert in our 2025 Summer Classical Concert Series, featuring internationally acclaimed violinist Ruben Rengel in an inspiring evening of chamber music. This program highlights Nordic lyricism, Romantic intensity, and captivating early works by four extraordinary composers:

Carl Nielsen – Little Suite, Op. 1

Nielsen’s first published work brims with lyrical themes, Nordic color, and imaginative orchestration in a compact three-movement form.

Jean Sibelius/arr. Barrett – En Saga Septet

This rare chamber arrangement of Sibelius’s tone poem captures the sweeping mystery and intimate textures of the original orchestral masterpiece.

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Largo and Allegro

An early chamber gem revealing Tchaikovsky’s lyrical voice and growing command of expressive contrast and formal elegance.

Reinhold Glière – String Octet, Op. 5

Expansive and lush, this youthful octet dazzles with Romantic richness and emotional depth.
